Highland Park originated in 1906 and is 2.2 miles of extraordinary living. It is one of the 40 wealthiest cities in the US and 19th in cities with a population over 1000. The city of Highland Park is literally surrounded the city of Dallas and University Park, just minutes to downtown. Lakewood

Whenever you're in Dallas, be sure to visit the eclectic Lakewood area. Lakewood was created in the early 1900's and includes a collection of neighborhoods. Some of the neighborhoods include The gated Cloisters, Lakewood Heights, Junis Heights, Caruth Terrace, Wilshire Heights, Mockingbird Heights, Hillside and Hollywood Heights. The homes in lakewood vary from 2 bedroom bungalows to massive estates on acreage. Lakewood residents are fortunate to be within walking distance to White Rock Lake. White Rock Lake is the largest lake within city limits in the U.S. Surrounded by a 9.33 mile trail and numerous parks used for everything from walking, running, biking, and picnicing. The neighborhood has a laid back feel, you can always count on there being avid walkers and runners throughout the neighborhood.
